We recently visited a fantastic resort located just a short walk from the pier to explore the markets at night. the resort is perfect for beach lovers and those seeking a laid back atmosphere, with direct access to a spotless beach and numerous restaurants nearby. the rooms were spacious with large bathrooms and great views, and the staff were accommodating with fresh towels and cute towel animals daily. Breakfast was included and quite good, and the pool offered a refreshing break from the sea.

We did find the pool quite crowded at times and the lounge chairs were limited.

Hotel's staff don't understand english basic. The room was not clean (after check in, we called the reception for have clean the bath!) and breakfast is not good (croissant was two months old!). We payed 4,150,00 for night and it's was too much expensive for all the service.

The best hotel in that beach!!!!! Excelent location and great views of the rooms, which were so comfortable huge great bathroom and lovely decored.. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast. Everything was just perfect!!!

I love staying at this hotel, it's perfect for a relaxed beach vacation. The hotel has great facilities including a beautiful pool, and it's located right on the beach. The cleanliness standards are top-notch, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Maya Koh Lanta is a great place to stay on Island – the location is superb – right on the beach and in walking distance to lots of shops and wonderful bars and resturants, its also fantastic value for money. The rooms and bathroom are of a good size and your every need is catered for by the great staff. Mr Nice – the Manager – is brilliant and will help you out with anything you request – in the run up to your stay (I sent numerous e mails about different things and he always got back to me very promptly) and while you are actually there. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would love to stay there again!

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it was an incredible experience. The location of this hotel is simply perfect, right on the best beach of the whole of Koh Lanta. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel amenities were top-notch, with an amazing swimming pool and a beautiful beach just steps away. The hotel also offers a fantastic massage place on the premises, which was an absolute treat. this place provided us with a luxurious and comfortable stay that surpassed our expectations.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Rooms very clean and nice design. Location superb right on the beach, short walk to all the restaurants and bars, no cars/taxis needed.

There was no buffet breakfast even though it was mentioned in the website. Internet was cutting every hour and needed to get a new code.

The room was beautiful and very big. We especially loved waking up with an amazing seaview. Just for that reason we would come back here. In the bathroom there was a bathtub and shower, which was great. We loved the small terrace to sit outside and watch the sunset. The reception had a big choice of DVD's we could borrow for free. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was really poor, especially for this price level of hotel. Too much staff, doing nothing. The entrance of the hotel lobby was slippery, especially with rain, this was dangerous.

The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. the beach was really close and had crystal clear waters for swimming. the breakfast was tasty with a good choice of bread and fresh fruit.

The service was slow and uninterested, staff was not friendly. the location was quite far from the town center and activities.

We liked the location and the pool at the hotel. The rooms were also large and comfortable. The massage parlour next door is great. We liked the surrounding area for its laid-back atmosphere and variety.

The customer service: lots of staff "working" but it never appeared to be the case. Although the rooms were clean, the common areas left a lot to be desired sometimes: unswept floors and staircases, glasses left by pool, etc. Another complaint would be room 16. I'd be surprised if any guest came away 100% happy after a stay there: the sea view is only partial(not as advertised - all the rest have it), the bathroom smells terrible (drains), and the water comes out over the top of the rain shower. These may seem petty complaints but they add up when you have travelled 16,000k to get there! All In all I would recommend if the price was right and there was nowhere better to stay!

Clean and modern rooms with magnificent sea view from balcony. Location near to ferry and convenient stores.

Limited facilities, especially the small pool. Beach not suitable for sunbathing or swimming due to rocks and rubbish.
